Here's a rare chance to get a tour through one of the most historic sites on the mountain. When he opened Pinecrest Resort in 1909, the twofold goal of renown mountain pioneer, Dr. John Baylis was to help save the forest from being over-logged by building the largest resort in the San Bernardino Mountains. Secondly, he wanted to provide a haven where the average family could enjoy the beauty of nature. Today Pinecrest Christian Conference Center is a popular destination for groups to enjoy. Tickets include tour and lunch for Society Members $15, for Non-Members $20. Tickets are limited so contact Marilyn Mays at marilynmays@charter.net or call her at (909) 485-1153. Please park at the Main Parking Lot near the Ball field, and gather at the Amphitheater.
