43rd Run Through the Pines - Lake Gregory
Saturday, August 10, 2024 (6:30 AM - 11:00 AM) (PDT)
Description
The Run Through the Pines is a San Bernardino Rim Mountain Community Event and is one of the longest runs in Southern California (the first one was in 1979).
It features a 10K and 5K run (or walk) around Lake Gregory and is brought on by community support from sponsor, vendors, and volunteers from all over the mountain. Runners and walkers can enjoy a semi-paved roadway around Lake Gregory which passes scenic mountain and lake views. The run is at a 4,720 feet elevation, which makes it a perfect little challenge for mountain locals and especially those folks down the hill. Staging is at The Lake Gregory Company Crestline. We encourage participants of all levels, children in strollers, pets on a leash, and especially teams/groups.
Sponsored by the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District. Questions? Contact info@rim-rec.org
