Workshop On New CA Retirement Plan Mandate for All Businesses

Beginning December 31st, 2025, all businesses in California with more than 1 employee will be required to either participate in CalSavers or provide a workplace retirement plan. Failure to comply will result in a fee of $250-$500 per eligible employee, potentially costing businesses thousands of dollars in fines. Many business owners do not know, however, that CalSavers has its own unique set of problems. This is why LA Pension Planners, in partnership with Empower, is proud to present to Lake Arrowhead a pooled employer plan. This pooled employer plan will allow members of the Lake Arrowhead Chamber of Commerce a low-cost method to comply with CalSavers, eliminate administrative fiduciary liability, and provide a more robust retirement plan to each of their employees. For business owners, this will make it easier to save for retirement and create a tax shelter.
